A Game You Can Play By Yourself?!

Hey Guys, how's it going?

Today we're going to be checking out a game called "One Deck Dungeon". This is a style of game that are called "Dungeon Crawlers". Basically, in this game system, you can play by yourself or on a team with up to 1 other player. Instead of battling other players, you fight monsters, that you can defeat with certain items, or a lucky roll of the dice, among other things. Let's take a look!

For starters, the box has a glossy feel to it and can be scratched using a fingernail. The entire box feels very cheaply made and unimpressive. Unlike practically everything else included inside of it. The mini six sided dice are translucent and feel great, the wooden cubes and pieces are solid. One thing that I noted was that all of the characters are female, nothing wrong with it, but it is something to note.

Gameplay is a refreshing retreat from the last Asmadi Game that I checked out, which was The Playtest Series. It brings a Dungeons & Dragons style experience, that fits in a backpack. I'll admit, it gives off a "nerdy" vibe to potential onlookers, but if you're into the dice-rolling, stat-counting life and you don't have friends who're committed to that life as well; this may be a great buy for you. The game pieces feel great, the paper is quality, the dice are good, and gameplay simply cannot be beat for the size of this.

The price is a reasonable $19 as of now on Amazon, this price tends to fluctuate as it is Amazon, but it usually doesn't go too far above or too far below that price.

As for me, I'm more of a sci-fi, deckbuilding guy; but it was cool to check out. If you're into fantasy and don't have friends that will play that with you, then this is a great buy.

Thanks for reading everyone, thanks to Asmadi Games for sending this out, this is Muthu; signing out.
