This Turns Your Smartphone Into The Ultimate Camera

Today, we'll be checking out a "macro lens" for your smartphone. For those of you who don't know what a "macro lens" is, it's a camera lens that allows you to take extremely detailed shots of extremely small things. A smartphone macro lens is the same thing, except it's positioned over your smartphone's camera.
The MagniBand is a silicone band that streches over your phone's camera. There is a macro lens built into the band. It's super simple, and due to that, is compatible with almost any phone that is equipped with a camera. Due to it's simple, elegant, portable, and universal design, MagniBand can be carried anywhere and be used on almost any device that is equipped with a camera.
I love macro photography and have always been looking for a cheap smartphone macro lens in order to expand my macro photography. The MagniBand has gained a large community and following over on Instagram and Twitter. People take amazing photos with MagniBand and the company often features pictures from both social media networks that have the hash tag #magniband on their website and their social media accounts.
The founder, Toby Liew, was just 13 when he conceived MagniBand, and just 16 when he began production. It's an awesome, cheap alternative to professional camera macro photography because of it's portability, and the fact that smartphone cameras are getting really good. If you gave an ordinary person photo samples from a professional camera vs. the photo samples from the iPhone 7 and Google Pixel, they would not be able to tell the difference.
Here are some photos that I took with MagniBand and my pretty mediocre smartphone camera.
You can see that MagniBand is powerful enough to even capture the individual pixels on a laptop screen. And the pictures above are with my low-end, budget smartphone's camera. With a latest-gen phone, or just a good smartphone's camera, you can easily get photos that rival professional cameras.
