The Mob Comes to a CARD GAME?!
UPDATE: After I initially posted this, Andy(the designer of the game) reached out to me with a couple answers as to some of my queries in the following review. Especially about the monstrous Amazon listing. He said that Amazon had lost track of their last shipment and is receiving a new shipment really soon which should fix everything and make it correct.

Hey Guys, how's it going?
Shoutout to Andy Patton, the designer of this game, for sending me a copy to check out! Speakeasy is a party/large-group game for 10-40 people, but you can play with 7 people at the minimum. Let's check it out.
The thing that I want to make abundantly clear is that this is not a game that you play casually with a couple friends, this is a large-group/party game. This game is only fun with 10 or more people, in fact the designer told me when I contacted him, that he did not want me to review it unless I could get 10 or more people together. So with that out of the way, let's start with the box.
I've told you guys time and time again that the matte design is by far my favorite of any packaging, Speakeasy also has it, good job. After the matte packaging, the box is pretty simple, featuring art on the left and right sides along with "SPEAKEASY" on the top, bottom, and front.
The actually game takes some time to set up, but once you get started you get to see why it is a party game. If you have a good amount of people, the game is EPIC, if you don't then, you've officially wasted $35...
The instructions are well written, unlike one of Andy Patton's other games(Dead Last) that I have reviewed before. The art on the cards is nice, modern and simple. It comes with quite a bit of little master info slips of paper, which adds nicely to the replay-ability value.
One "problem" I noticed with Speakeasy is that the Amazon listing is...not functioning. The only listing you get on Amazon for "Spekaeasy" is an $85~ monstrosity offered by the OFFICIAL PUBLISHING COMPANY, Waxwing Puzzle Co! The official price on Andy Patton's website is $35, but the link there is listed as "currently unavailable" on Amazon.
Final Verdict - 9/10
This game is NOT for everyone, but if you frequently play with large groups of people and think that you will enjoy this type of game, then you can't argue with $35.
Thanks for reading guys, see you in the next one!
