Jingle Book Review : Just in time for Christmas

Hey Guy's, how are you doing?

FINALLY, It's here! The new Swindle book! Welcome to Day 5 of Holiday Hooligans, where we'll be checking out the latest addition to a series I'm sure your young reader(or yourself) will absolutely ENJOY!

For starters, the story was good and Korman used a lot of familiar elements, but also some new ones which made for a pleasant and enjoyable story with the occasinal plot twist. There were some great side stories too that tied in quite nicely with the bigger plot as Korman always manages to do in his books. I definitely predicted the answer to the mystery but I've been reading books for nearly 7 years now so don't undermine the story just because I said that. Also, the book just felt and was shorter than a lot of his previous books in the Swindle series at 208 pages compared to the one of the earlier additions to the series(Book #5) at 288 pages. Usually there is around 4 times where Code Z is called and the plan MISERABLY FAILS, in this book there was one false Code Z calling and 1 time when the plan nearly got shut down. It felt rushed but also nicely put together in perfect theme for the time of year when it is hitting the market.

Final Verdict:

- Story: 9/10

- Bang for the buck(Price to Performance): 5/10

It's a good story that definitely felt rushed at points and was noticeably smaller than previous additions to the series(you can finish it in about a day if you like the story), but priced at $10.99 it really comes down to you, I've laid out the facts, what do you think?

Thanks for reading guys, see you next time!
