My new favorite pen(Konrad Rollerball Review)

Hey guys, how are you doing?

Before we begin, HUGE shout-out to Noodler's Ink for sending The Konrad Rollerball Pen out for me to review! This will be the pilot post of "Holiday Hooligans", it's a series where I check out products that are affordable gifts that you can get your loved ones!

This will last till New Year's and will continue annually!

Some Quick Facts about the pen

------------------------------------------------------

- Uses fountain pen ink

- Does not come with ink already in the pen

- Super easy refill mechanism

Let's start with the good stuff, shall we? The design is nice and simple, not too bulky but, not too slim either. The "blank" design is AMAZING, by "blank" I mean the lack of branding and logos, the only "logo" you'll find on here is on the clip, where it says "Noodler's Ink", this makes for a simple but not too bland look. The writing experience is absolutely a PLEASURE, the smoothness of the writing makes this pen IDEAL for prolonged periods of writing. The entire pen has a "modular" feel to it, since everyhting screws together. The advantage to that is the fact that you don't need to worry about the ink spilling when you have this clipped in a shirt pocket or something along those lines. The knob you turn in order to refill the pen with ink is cleverly concealed at the very bottom of the pen in the form of a screw on blind cap, this makes the design SO MUCH SLEEKER.

Now, there is no such thing as a product with no flaws and the Konrad is no different. First of all, some of the ink DEFINITELY spills on your hands if you grip the cylinder that the metal tip comes out of and that makes it EXTREMELY easy to get ink all over you hands. Next, this may not apply to you but, in my case the process of filling the ink was extremely slow, but it's A REFILLABLE ROLLER BALL so I can't really complain. My last gripe with this pen is that sometimes when you are writing, the ink will wash off of the metal tip and you would need to shake it in order to get some more ink on the tip, also getting ink on your hands in the process.

Final Verdict - 8.5/10

At $22 it may be a bit much for the average scholar, but it is definitely a good buy with only a few quirks. If you want a good pen that will last you quite a while, I can't find any reason to not recommend The Konrad Roller Ball Pen.

Thanks for reading guys, see you in the next one!
